How to obtain a recycling bin

If you move into a rented property or an existing residence, then that property will have been allocated a recycling bin. The bin is the property of HRR and should not be removed from the residence once it is vacated. If a bin is missing once you move into a new property then please report that to HRR on freecall 1800 838884.

If you are building a new home and you would like a recycling bin: -

• Maitland residents contact Maitland City Council on 4934 9700

If your bin is stolen, then please contact your local police station or call the Police Assistance Line on 131 444 to obtain an police incident number. Once Solo Resource Recovery are in receipt of this number they will issue your residence with a new recycling bin. Solo can be contacted on 4947 8511, or by fax on 4947 8512.
