The Resource Recoverers Package
In order to inform teachers of the educational resources of HRR, the waste education officer can conduct a teacher in-service. The school will then be presented with the Resource Recoverers Package. This A4 manual is a waste reduction tool for Primary Schools containing resources that will assist schools in achieving waste reduction through a variety of different means, rather than recycling only.
School Waste Management Plan
In order to assist schools to not only recycle waste, but also to avoid and reduce waste within schools, HRR has developed a Schools Waste Management Plan. This plan will assist schools in developing short term and long term goals in terms of waste reduction.
