Who is HRR?
Hunter Resource Recovery is an initiative of Cessnock, Lake Macquarie and Maitland City Councils representing an estimated 350,000 residents with 18,500 homes serviced each fortnight. Hunter Resource Recovery is a company that was established in New South Wales’ Hunter Valley region by Cessnock, Lake Macquarie and Maitland City Councils in June 1997.

This equates to the weight of an average family sedan car. That’s a lot of rubbish! With the country’s population ever increasing, we cannot afford to maintain this rate of waste disposal.
